Click here to donate in honor of a particular runner, honoree, or to beHeadStrong's general fund. Enter the runner/honoree's name in the ‘Find a fundraiser to support’ search fields. To donate to beHeadStrong, simply enter your donation amount into the "Make a Contribution" box.
If you are a brain tumor survivor, or the friend, or family of someone that has lost their fight with a brain tumor and are interested in helping beHeadStrong raise funds for others affected by brain tumors, email terri_risinger@yahoo.com. You can have a personal page setup for you. Please submit your story and a picture to help educate the world on real people with brain tumors.

| Our mission is to support brain tumor patients and caregivers in the greater Kansas City area - through public awareness, education and services - and to aid organizations working to cure brain tumors. |
| In an effort to accomplish our mission, beHeadStrong - |
- Provides support to local families affected by brain tumors. beHeadStrong offers financial assistance to help with the high cost of medical care, travel and other living expenses associated with the treatment of brain tumors. Our hotline and volunteers can be reached at 913-314-2255 or at info@beheadstrong.org.
- Distributes informational pamphlets at St. Luke’s Hospital and Children's Mercy Hospital with plans to add other local hospitals in the future. New patients who register for our services will also receive an information packet with resources to other support organizations.
- Funds national research to find a cure. A portion of the proceeds from our fundraising event (Hannah's Hope) goes directly to the St.Luke's Brain Tumor Center in Kansas City.

| Since 2004, beHeadStrong has been associated with the Tug McGraw Foundation. The Tug McGraw Foundation was established by Tug McGraw in 2003 to raise funds to enhance the quality of life of children and adults with brain tumors and their families by stimulating and facilitating research that addresses the physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual impact of the disease. |
